ABOUT Peter Maximoff is a speedy little bastard, son of Magneto and code named Quicksilver. Previous basement dweller and current X-Man, he has absolutely zero daddy issues whatsoever. Nada. Zilch. PERSONALITY To be frank, he's a bit of a kleptomaniac and quite a bit of a character to those who cross paths with him. To describe him in so few words would be to call him cocky, overconfident and a bit of a thing for ill-timed jokes. With an ability set like his it's easy to be a rebel to authority, especially when your single (human) mother's unable to rein you in herself. Growing up in a time of stress for mutants and their kind and with his father being one of the most prominent mutant figures of the age - he takes advantage of his powers, even if it disqualifies him from sports competitions and brings the cops to his door on the regular. That said, he's loyal to his friends and comrades and doesn't shy away from a purpose or fear risking his life to protect those in need. In the last decade he's come to decide he wants to seek purpose for his life and to learn more about his roots, starting by looking into just how to break the news to Erik Lehnsherr that he's his father.

APPEARANCE He's a guy so fast that sometimes he's ahead of the trends. Peter's tall and somewhat lanky, with a head of unruly silver hair and dark brown eyes. Never without a band tee and something to signify his namesake (be it a silver jacket or worn down pair of Chucks,) his fashion sense is alternative with a little flashy edge. He's prone to wearing a belt with a variety of mundane supplies that help with his klepto tendencies, including but not limited to: duct tape, lock picks, goggles and of course - his tunes on one or two sony walkmans, always on his person. He tends to also carry Twinkies with him too. ABILITIES Peter Maximoff is fast. Having inherited the mutant gene from his father's half of his genetics, Peter's mutation allows him to move at superhuman speeds befitting of a guy named Quicksilver. He's capable of moving and perceiving the world faster than a normal human, allowing him to see what's around him as if it were in slow motion. This comes in handy for redirecting the trajectory of bullets, giving instantaneous wedgies and running along walls defying gravity. Peter's body is well suited to keep up with these high speeds, with obviously enhanced reactions and the durability and stamina to endure moving at such accelerated speeds. His joints are reinforced and his metabolism ridiculously high on account of burning so much energy with his fast-paced lifestyle. His metabolism also allows him to heal and recover faster, but also makes him something of a snack hound.
