Wanda is Peter's multiverse twin; they share a lot of similarities but there was a divergence somewhere, and so it's not a perfect fit. Nonetheless, they get along well and have a close bond. It's been tested a bit by the trials and tribulations of being in an unsteady world, but they've held strong. Peter knows that Wanda's been through a lot, from even so far back as before he arrived to witness the ups and downs. He feels strongly for his sister and is frustrated there isn't much he can do at this point aside from give her any time and energy he can spare. Maximoffs are a tough breed and he knows they'll pull through, even through the unfairness of the universe. From corn jokes at a BBQ to a candy corn disaster, Peter and Magnus fostered a friendship that has only continued to flourish in the months they grew to be close friends. Magnus is very laid back and so is Peter, with a shared sense of humor and an affinity for silly texting. But it's not all just bad jokes and slumber parties at Fauxhalla; Peter confides a lot in Magnus and looks to him for help and advice in trying times. He hopes he is the same support in return, as he'd be willing to bury a truck corpse just as much as he'd field questions on what pick-up lines work or don't work. He trusts Magnus a great deal, but doesn't want to keep bringing the vibe down so in some cases he's tried to tone down just how much sad over rad he's been bringing to the table. Also may the Nirvana jokes never cease. Peter will drag them on for as long as he can. Peter was introduced to Odin via Magnus, ironically to help make him a dating profile to score dates. They bonded fast through a rapid-fire texting relationship that turned into true friendship when they blasted off to Big Brother 3K in space - where it only solidified into a true bromance for the ages. At least for a little while; at the time they both had their own respective relationships with other people that fizzled, died or ported out in their own ways and they sought comfort in each other's arms. You think that'd be where the hot, passionate sex and romance started but actually all they did was eat take-out, share a hotel room and terrorize room service.
But their hearts actually mended in a healthy, productive way and it wasn't soon after that that some feelings began to simmer under the surface. Peter's came to a boil during the events of Odin's reality TV spin off show ImPort My Heart! A mix of jealousy and conflicted feelings as host led him to breach the sacred no homo wall, pitching himself forward into a confusing bisexual maze he has yet to find his way out of. But hey, he's got a boyfriend now. It all worked out. ARCHIE IS A TRUE BRO, AND PETER STILL APPRECIATES THE SUGAR DADDYING FROM HIS FIRST PIZZA DELIVERY & THAT SWEET, HOT $100 BILL. THAT AND THE BERRIES THAT ARE TOTALLY NOT DRUGS AND NEVER EXCHANGED HANDS. BUT ASIDE FROM ALL THE DEBAUCHERY, PETER THINKS ARCHIE'S PRETTY COOL AND HAS SOME WEIRD BAT-ANIMALS THAT ARE ALSO PRETTY COOL. ALSO THIS TEXT THING WILL NEVER GET OLD. EVER. Peter considers D33 to be a stubborn guy, maybe a little weird around the edges but who is he to really judge. There's some mischief going on with how Peter's trying to have a little fun teaching him incorrect acronyms and feed him candy corn but he really doesn't know that much about D33. Other than he does't like being called "Dee" and only had pizza for the first time here in the city. Cool dude tho, worth checking in with every now and again. Peter hasn't had a lot of time to get to know Lucina in yet, but from the conversations they've had he thinks she's very sweet and friendly. She's family to him via extension of Odin, and he can tell she greatly cares for her cousin. She reminds him of his little sister in a way and he hopes he doesn't treat her like one too much. Peter met Laurie at the X-Fam BBQ and she seemed pretty cool. Fellow mutant, second-gen and all, he'll definitely say what's up the next time he sees her. In the future they could potentially talk about evil mutant fathers, maybe, as a nice convo over lunch. Magnus's main squeeze and green haired bestie. Peter thinks Alex is pretty cool, mostly by proxy via Magnus but their conversations haven't been bad either. Candy corn debacles aside. Peter might give Magnus a hard time but somehow(?) isn't at that point with Alex, who is still somewhat of a mystery. Peter's got no strong feelings about Kaneki, other than he is aware that he's documenting a lot of data on the network and is a close friend/ associate of Charles. So there's proxy trust going on, since if the Prof vouches for you, you're a good dude. Most of the time. (See: Erik Lehnsherr.) Peter and Leo started off in a rough way, almost going at each other's throats because of stubborn, possessive personalities and it's improved a little bit? Peter made attempts to iron things out for Odin's sake, and they hit a balance of "acquaintance" over friend (hence the category despite friends of Odin being friends of his,) and hopefully there's no bloodshed in the future. Peter's not sure what he thinks of Odin and Leo's relationship but he's trying to respect it, even if it makes him kinda side-eye the whole thing. So Peter's got no idea what to think of "Father" Maxwell aka Shinigami-dude or whatever other name he's got in his back pocket. There was a bit of a weird introduction and talks of explosions and maybe too many questions into powers but it evened out into less creepy territory in good time. For a priest, Duo's not the stereotype that Peter would've assumed all priests to be and so that's actually relieving? And Duo's pretty well versed in this universe's history (past and present?) so Peter's curious about the extent of sights he's seen. One of the people picked up here as some adoptive family or to be mentored by Erik. Peter's not all that sure he likes Murphy, but he doesn't dislike him either. There's a bullheadedness there that he honestly kinda respects, it's not too far from some of Peter's defensive reactions to elements of life. Peter's still trying to wrap his mind around robots with human skins (and how that works,) but regardless Riptide ain't bad. Sure, they almost died huffing fuel together and sure, thinly veiled candy corn threats were a thing... but they didn't die at least? That has to count as teamwork accomplished. Peter doesn't know what to classify Darlene as, hence the "other" category. Their first encounter was fun and flippant and left Peter covered in iced coffee but with a smile on his face. Their second encounter wasn't all that expected (girls never call him back,) but he hopped at the chance to see her again because there is something undeniably attractive about her but that may just be Peter's attraction to Bad Decisions in life. Truth be told, he's not expecting much but doesn't mind an audience to show off to or flirt with, and she's got some dark and twisty qualities to her that intrigue him. Will he end up played? Probably. But she makes faux fur look good, so who cares. He didn't realize he dated Princess Leia via ImPress until it was over, long after the fact. He still wants to die inside? Just a little. Peter thinks Leia's gorgeous, but that's just the Star Wars fan in him trying to come to grips with how close he was to the actual Princess Leia and how he actually got to make out with her under the mistletoe this past Christmas. He's a little embarrassed in retrospect to how drunk he was and he hasn't really spoken to her since, so he anticipates a bit of weirdness when that happens. He does, however, look forward to seeing her again. He's waiting for that concert, Lestat. Lorna is one of Peter's new collection of multiverse sisters, the number of which continue to grow. He hasn't really gotten to know her and doesn't already have an idea of her on account of his own universe's version (like he does with Wanda,) so he's really just getting to know her. He's got some conflicted feelings because of his complicated relationship with his father but he can't blame other siblings for that, now can he? He wants to ask her more about her relationship with Erik and her home world, but he's taking it one step at a time. Personality wise they are somewhat alike in trolling nature and good humor, so Peter gets along with her. It's weird that she's technically older, though he still feels protective as he does with his other sibs. To any of her suitors he offers a simple gesture: points to eyes, points to you. Met shopping, Giorno offered Peter some cool advice he probably won't take too heavily into consideration but he also showed Peter his weird freaky ability to turn things in to other things. Which would've been a lot cooler if he hadn't first demonstrated it by turning candy into a bug. That was nasty. Peter still lays awake at night wondering if the not-things have souls, y'know. So Will is a Cool Dude, because how else do you describe someone who literally says 'take my key and go take something from my store'. Was trusting Peter to not steal everything that wasn't nailed down potentially stupid? Yes, yes it was. But thankfully Peter didn't, he just took a tacky t-shirt (that by the way he wears too often,) and the dog for a walk. Peter doesn't know that much about Will other than he's a total Dog Dad type of person for reasons unclear, but he can respect someone treating their pets like kids. Ugly Snotface the FurQueen deserves that, after all. It's weird but Peter does sense a certain strangeness to Will but he's willing to dismiss it because Bros. Also everyone he knows is kinda weird in one shape, way or form. Y'can't really judge. Jean Grey is Peter's closest friend, BFF and girlfriend wrapped all up in one. Since arriving, Jean has been someone that he's latched on to because of how they share a very similar wavelength. They like a lot of the same things, spend a lot of their time together and have had many heart to heart talks and shared moments in the last few months. It started out as a close bond something akin to siblings but blossomed into more, with Peter initially trying to suppress budding attraction or write it off as simple friendship. However that did not work out. After tiptoeing a line and debating whether it would be better to continue to eat his feelings and not risk messing up what they had, all it took was a few rainbow chip cookies for Peter to make a split second decision that did not end poorly. Terrible timing aside, Peter still can't quite believe his luck? And he's only just beginning to realize how head over heels he truly is. (And was.) Harold (and Bear) were cool and Peter appreciated the brief period of time that Harold helped him pick out some clothes. Yeah, the shoes are a little too fancy for his everyday wear but they weren't something he would've ever picked up on his own. So now if and when he ever goes out looking fancy on the town, he has Harold to thank. Erik and Peter's relationship is best described as complicated, but with potential. Peter is excited at the opportunity to get to know his father, but he still sort of feels it started on a weird note because it was his other-universe nephew(?) that filled in all the blanks and created a bridge Peter wasn't able to create back home. It sort of forced his hand, forcing him to join in on a family he doesn't dislike by any means - but would've liked a little more choice in how he waded into the middle of the pool with. They've been getting along well and Peter's seen a great deal of care and compassion in his father, first hand and through the acts and words of others he's met here. It seems as if Charles and Erik have adopted a large crew of wandering youth and when not throwing cars at them, Erik seems to be a mentoring figure. Peter respects this but also finds it to have a bitter taste as the son who never got to know his father growing up and who may be dealing with jealous in that respect. He acknowledges it for what it is and doesn't let it truly sit or affect him, but it's a troubling feeling that rears up every now and again. Similarly, before arriving here - and for the last ten years of his life - Peter's really only seen the darker side of Erik. The Magneto side. He's seen what he's capable of, what the world sees Erik as, and what troubles Peter here is that he hasn't caught a glimpse of that side at all. He knows it can't be gone and is sort of annoyed by the domestic family bliss that is brushing it all under the carpet. Yeah, it's great to have dinners together and if he asked to go play catch he's sure Erik'd agree. But Peter doesn't want to pretend they're a perfect family, not when there's still a lot simmering under the surface and he still expects Magneto to go rogue at any moment. So you meet a guy who has the same face as you in a creepy hotel and just skirt by not getting murdered for it, so what? The man has a stash of strong ass Absinthe and Peter doesn't remember most of what they talked about but he has the feeling he talked shit about a co-worker? Was there a hotel tour? How did he end up face down in someone else's bed? Questions perhaps best left unanswered. The Professor is a rock for the X-Fam in more ways than one, as he inspires a sense of relief and trust. He was one of the first figures Peter ran into upon arrival and he's been a source of confidence ever since. Whether it was filling him in on history and politics, supporting him in his weird and winding path at getting to know his father or being an already established mentor of others in the house. Charles dating Erik doesn't necessarily bother Peter, since it's appeared that nothing has changed in the house dynamics. He's alright with it but also a bit wary and reserved toward his father's future actions and how that may alter everything - and so long as nobody expects him to call Chuck his step-dad, he thinks it'll be fine. It's strange enough calling Erik "Dad", still a little too foreign on Peter's tongue but he's trying. |
