PERSONALITY: Peter Maximoff is quite frankly a little shit. A bit of a kleptomaniac and quite a character to those who cross paths with him, he's got a cocky overconfidence that comes with being super-fast and able to evade pretty much anything. It's hard not to rebel against authority, especially when even his human mother can't do much to rein him in - other than handing off checks to the officers who come to their front door to cover the cost of whatever the hell it was he decided to take. (And believe you me, he will take pretty much anything that's not bolted down. And even those things, in some exceptions.)

Growing up during times that were turbulent for the mutant community, Peter defied the norm when it comes to staying on the down low about mutant abilities as 'unique individuals' hadn't quite come into the mainstream yet. Who broke 8 world records in Track and Field and single handedly got mutants disqualified from all athletic competitions? This guy! Maybe he gets this flair for the dramatic from his father, one of the most prominent (and wanted) mutant figures of the age - Erik Lehnsherr. Who has absolutely no idea Peter exists, or so Peter believes for all the attempts he's made at trying to get in touch with the mystery father figure he never had. His mother tries to shield him from meeting Lehnsherr, but Peter's also quite stubborn and not so easily dissuaded from what he's got his mind set on.

Peter's quirks aside, he's actually a pretty loyal guy with a sturdy moral compass who's coming into his own. While he may no longer be avidly searching for his father, he is still looking to identify the root of who he is and to make something of himself rather than stay confined to a life living out of his mother's basement. With new friendships branching out from those he meets who are fellow mutants like him, he's opening up to using his abilities to benefit and protect others in the world - training to become an X-Man alongside those he's peers with under the tutelage of those who changes his world too.

POWER: Peter Maximoff is fast.

Having inherited the mutant gene from his father's half of his genetics, Peter's mutation allows him to move at superhuman speeds befitting of a guy named Quicksilver. He's capable of moving and perceiving the world faster than a normal human, allowing him to see what's around him as if it were in slow motion. This comes in handy for redirecting the trajectory of bullets, giving instantaneous wedgies and running along walls defying gravity.

Peter's body is well suited to keep up with these high speeds, with obviously enhanced reactions and the durability and stamina to endure moving at such accelerated speeds. His joints are reinforced and his metabolism ridiculously high on account of burning so much energy with his fast-paced lifestyle. His metabolism also allows him to heal and recover faster, but also makes him something of a snack hound.

FINAL NOTES: Peter will have a few objects on him: some sexy, bold 80s shades, his walkman and some really sad squished Twinkies.
